From June 2025, organisations in Ireland with over 50 employees must report on their Gender Pay Gap for the first time. This change is part of the next phase of the Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021.
To support your business through this important compliance update, Alkimii offers an easy-to-use Gender Pay Gap report, available in the People Reports.
The Gender Pay Gap is the difference in the average hourly wage of men and women across your workforce, expressed as a percentage of men’s earnings. According to the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, organisations must report:
This reporting legislation was introduced gradually:
Each organisation must select a ‘snapshot date’ in June. The Gender Pay Gap report is based on payroll data from the 12-month period preceding this date, and the data must be published within six months of the snapshot date on your website.
You can review the official guidance and updated regulations here:
Already an Alkimii user? To make compliance easier, we’ve built a dedicated report directly into the Alkimii People Reports section.
💡 You can choose from preset or custom date ranges. Some reports provide snapshots as of today, while others allow for full-year selection.
